From Paris

Take the A10 motorway towards Orleans
Then the A71 motorway to Montluçon ( exit 9 is the best choice)
Cross Montluçon following the way to Gueret, then Evaux les Bains.
Drive up to Auzances
At Auzances take the direction of Chenerailles and Mainsat.
When you reach the D4, drive for about 6,5 km up to the crossroads indicating PIX and Mairie de Châtain, turn right, cross the hamlet of PIX at 500m, then drive for 2 kms up to Châtain.
Cross the crossroads.
"La Petite Cure" is on your left after the memorial.

From Clermont-Ferrand, Lyon or Montpellier

From Clermont- Ferrand: Follow the direction LIMOGES, go past Vulcania, then Pontgibaud.
From Lyon or Montpellier: Take the A89 towards Bordeaux till the Exit 26 at Bromont-Lamothe towards Pontaumur.
On leaving Pontaumur, take the direction of Auzances (D206).
Drive up to Auzances.
At Auzances take the direction of Chenerailles and Mainsat.
When you reach the D4, drive for about 6,5 km up to the crossroads indicating PIX and Mairie de Châtain, turn right, cross the hamlet of PIX at 500m, then drive for 2 kms up to Châtain.
Cross the crossroads.

Coming from  La Souterraine, Guéret

Take the N145 up to Gouzon
At Gouzon, take the D915 towards Chambon sur Voueize
At Chambon sur Voueize, drive till you reach Evaux les Bains.
At Auzances take the direction of Chenerailles and Mainsat.
When you reach the D4, drive for about 6,5 km up to the crossroads indicating PIX and Mairie de Châtain, turn right, cross the hamlet of PIX at 500m, then drive for 2 kms up to Châtain.
Cross the crossroads.
