La Petite cure, accomodation in a country self catering gite in Limousin, in the Creuse region, near Auzances, Guéret, Aubusson. This gite is classified 4 wheat ears by the Gites de France.

"La Petite Cure" is an entirely independent property, with the typical distinctive characteristics
of the XIXe Century, located in the hamlet of Châtain, in the verdant Creuse.
There is a 2000m2 garden. Car parking is free.

Hiking or fishing in the vicinity are the main outside activities.
Sorry, we don’t accept your pets such as cats and dogs in the Gîte.

As soon as you enter the Gîte you can have a glimpse of the park bordering the pond of Châtain and its footpaths all around. You can also see all our meadows , typical of the preserved authentic natural sights
of the picturesque Creuse region.

On leaving the gîte, you can discover our beautiful Creuse in the Limousin region.

The hamlet of Châtain is located at 8 kms from Auzances in the region of Haute Marche Combrailles which is a junction between Allier, Creuse and the Puy de Dôme regions.
Thanks to this exceptional geographical situation we benefit of a great variety of landscapes, natural and cultural sites such as the Vassivière’s Lake, the natural regional Park of Millevaches, the Creuse Valley and the impressionist painters, Aubusson and its tapestries, the Sculpted village of Masgot, the Animal Park of the Wolves of Chabrières (Les Loups de Chabrières).
If you want to know more about our Churches and uncommon Abbayes you will appreciate Chambon sur Voueize, Moutier d’Ahun and many others worth while to discover.
The region is proud of a rich inheritance in a natural preserved environment. Quite an important number of Gardens are open for visits.
